Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. The Main Attraction

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
